  23. what is the difference between the girls in the first picture and the women in black - socioeconomically or whatever? why do some get to wear colors and jewelery and others not? would love to hear -
    is it hard to get them to pose for you? wonderful photos ian, thanks!

    Kim and Erin, the answer to your question is it's simply a matter of age. From about the age of eleven onwards, girls will be covered up. In some families it's younger than that.
