Corner View - Wisdom from an Elder

The theme of this week's Corner View is Wisdom from an Elder. The wisest elders, like Mahatma Gandhi and Nelson Mandela, preach a doctrine of non-violence, but we never learn, do we?

  7. I guess we never do learn, you'd think that getting along would be so simple, but when it comes to people that only want to fight I guess it becomes hard... and there's ego too, it always gets in the way of everything.

  8. I guess we never do learn. You'd think getting along would be so simple but when you meet people that just want to fight and argue, it gets difficult. Then there's ego, it always gets in the way of everything.

  9. What a perfect example of your #2 rule: capture the average reader 10 sec attention span with one poignant sentence. But you know what, it requires a lot of skill. Packing one sentence with meaning, like you just did, is not at all easy. And this is a great post.
    Congratulations on your first year.
