Corner View - Orange

The theme of this week's Corner View is orange so here, for no logical reason, is some random orangeness from around the world. The countries where the photos were taken are, from top to bottom, Panama, Peru, Mexico, Spain, Tanzania and Morocco.

Incidentally, as I'm in a random mood, the best tasting oranges I ate anywhere in the world were in Shiraz, Iran: the place where Shiraz grapes originally come from. Must be something about the soil there.

  7. I removed it, because I wrote orange as ornange, also interesting! But anyway, I like the colors in the photo's and the sharpness!

  8. Oranges were intoduced to Europe from Persia in the eleventh century, and the English word 'orange' originates from the Farsi & Arabic 'naranj', so Susanna your spelling was getting back to its roots.
