The theme of this week's Corner View is Cell Phone Madness, but I'm afraid I can't make much of a contribution: my cell phone doesn't have a very good camera, as I discovered the only time I have ever used it, when I popped in to visit the tomb of Jesus's grandfather, which happens to me next door to my local supermarket.

This is next door to your local supermarket? Really? I love the way the world works, and I think you should've used that for your post on contrasts!
ReplyDeleteOur grocery store has more shops next to it. This is cool to be next to your store.
ReplyDeletewow there is an eye glass store next to my super... it just doesn´t seem fair;)
ReplyDeleteVery cool photos, all the same!
ReplyDeletewhat? that's just crazy. so, you just pop in from time to time?
ReplyDeleteI'm not sure to understand !!! so, these pictures are mystery for me !!!
ReplyDeleteCool :-) But for a phone camera it is a rather good photo!
ReplyDeleteCate, once when I told someone that Jesus's grandfather was buried next to my local supermarket, he replied, "Do you mean God's father?"
ReplyDeletename dropping, like! :)
ReplyDeleteseriously, that's just dead surreal!
grab some fruit and a viewing??? what a great and wonderous world...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful blog. Writing and travel -- my two favorite loves. Congrats on your travel goals. Drop by and visit my blog some time.
ReplyDeleteThat gives a complete new dimension to a supermarket. It surely is a long long long grave. And why was his grandfather buried in Oman?
ReplyDeleteHad to laugh about the question of him being the father of God? ;)
Have a wonderful weekend, Jeannette
I had no idea there was such a place. I guess the next question is "why is there such a place?".
ReplyDeleteIt does look like a peaceful place to visit after the stress of shopping, though.
It's pathetic how jealous your photos make me feel. There's normally just a bit of sick outside the supermarket next to my house...
ReplyDeleteEt vos lunettes, Ian? Allez dons voir sur le bureau de madame Véhesse. Vous les y avez oubliées.
