It's what we're all thinking

I thought I had it sorted: monkeys have tails; apes don't. So, in Gibraltar I saw the Barbary Apes which are actually monkeys: Barbary Macaques ( Macaca sylvanus), but they don't have tails! The more I learn, the less I know. By the way, apart from all the metal and plastic stuff we accumulate around us, how different are we from them? They look like my ideal neighbours.

  1. Just saw a movie called "Fur" which it's likely you may never see, with Nicole Kidman and she did just that! Fell in love with her very furry neighbor (Robert Downey Jr.). You will have to figure out the rest!

Wonderful wonderful post about La Mancha - and of course! Manchego cheese - La Mancha. Thx for going there for us!

  2. Now you've said that, I'm going to have to watch that movie. I must admit I thought Helena Bonham Carter was quite cute in Planet of the Apes.

  3. I don't know, Ian, the guy on the left looks a little mean to me. Or wait - maybe he's protecting his wife and child. That's pretty nice! So when are you coming house-hunting in Savannah?
